Personal Rhetorical Situation Analysis

I am going to analyze a guideline I wrote at work https://kimais3070.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/procedure-1.docx and the Introduction Blog Post from this course found here https://wordpress.com/block-editor/post/kimais3070.com/10.

When analyzing the rhetorical situation of my two examples I am going to consider the writer, the audience, the message and the purpose. My first example is a guideline I wrote at work to pilot a new potential product called Managed Service. The guideline is more to assist the agents in working chargebacks for a specific client. In this example the writer is clearly me, the audience are the agents who will be working the chargebacks for the specified merchant. The agents are tenured and need no step-by-step procedures but simply a guide. The message is to provide clarity to the agents on the reason for the process and to give them a reference should they have any questions. The purpose of the document is to provide a guideline for a Managed Service product so that we can determine the success of the product at the end of the 60 day pilot.

In my second example, which is an introductions of myself to the class, the writer is myself. The audience is made up of my fellow classmates and instructor. The message is an introduction into my background, such as my schooling and career history, why I am working on the BTAS degree and what I hope to do with it once I graduate. The purpose of the Introduction is to educate the audience on my history and to complete the assignment as directed by the professor.
